The Houthis want to deprive Riyadh and Abu Dhabi of their financial base

Under the above title, Igor Sobotin wrote, in "Nezavisimaya Gazeta", about the Houthi threat to the Saudi and Emirati oil industries.

The article says: Houthi rebels have called on energy companies to leave Saudi Arabia and the UAE to avoid missile attacks. The leadership of the Ansar Allah movement issued a statement in this regard with the expiration of the truce, which lasted for nearly six months in Yemen. The Houthis have previously targeted the oil industry in the two neighboring countries more than once.

The human respite provided by the armistice was greatly appreciated by the local population. As experts from the International Crisis Group (ICG) note in their report, if the Houthi rebels return to combat operations, they will need to provide the population in areas under their control with economic gains that justify the hardships that will result from a return to war.

Of course, the rebels are unlikely to be defeated on the battlefield anytime soon, as the International Crisis Group notes, but they risk facing strong popular pressure on the territory they control. Disrupting the armistice would bring the armed conflict back to its previous level, and even more severe than that.
