The Iraqi Prime Minister directs the formation of the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption and its supportive team

The media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, stated, with direct instructions from him, that the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission and its supporting team have been formed in accordance with the ministerial curriculum.


Under the direct guidance of Al-Sudani, and with the aim of combating corruption, according to the ministerial curriculum, with unconventional mechanisms that overcome the previous negatives, the Integrity Commission formed, today, Wednesday, an exceptional formation entitled "The Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption."


And in order to speed up the confrontation of major corruption files and the recovery of those wanted in corruption cases and the abused public funds.


Al-Sudani also directed the formation of a Sanid team with broad powers, in order to provide full support to the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption in opening these files.


The team is also headed by the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Abdel Karim Abdel Fadel.


Al-Sudani directed that the work procedures of the team be by providing all the guarantees required by the constitution and laws, especially with regard to human rights.
