The Kremlin comments on the "attempted to assassinate Putin"... and reveals the truth

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, responded to what was published by Western newspapers about the attempted assassination of Vladimir Putin in the capital, Moscow.


And the Russian "TASS" news agency quoted Biskun as saying that what was published by Western media about the attempt to assassinate Putin last Wednesday was "incorrect."


According to Western media reports, earlier, the Russian President was subjected to an assassination attempt, during his return to his official residence, carried out by a motorcycle.


Reports stated that "an unknown person on a motorbike threw a bomb at Putin's car, causing its front tire to explode and smoke rising from it."

She explained that Putin was not hurt, and was secured, stressing that the security apparatus carried out several arrests suspected of being linked to the incident.


On Thursday morning, Putin traveled to the Uzbek city of Samarkand, where he held a series of bilateral meetings, including talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
