The Lebanese Foreign Minister comments on the decision to stop issuing passports: "The financial situation is difficult"

The Lebanese Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bouhabib, commented on the General Security's decision to stop the passport appointment platform, stressing that "the financial situation in Lebanon is very difficult, and those who do not feel this matter are a disaster."

He added, "The financial situation is very difficult, and whoever does not feel this is a disaster, as no country has ever stopped issuing its passports for economic reasons, but it is possible for security reasons." The upcoming parliamentary elections will secure his passport (passport) for the elections, and this quota is reserved and there is no fear of it.”

He pointed out that "the diplomats have not received their pensions for three months until yesterday, as one month's pension was transferred to them, and those who were assigned with a mission have not yet received their wages, but despite all this difficult situation, we will not allow this matter to affect the conduct of the elections, we will try to arrange all something," saying, "Even if I want someone, I want to do elections."
