The Turkish Consulate in Mosul: The Consul and the crew are fine and were not affected by the missile strikes

The Turkish Consulate in the city of Mosul, in northern Iraq, announced that the Consul, Muhammad Koçuk, and the consulate staff were fine and were not affected by the missile attack that targeted the consulate building.

The consulate said in a statement, "Consul Muhammad Koçuk and his consulate staff are fine, and none of them were harmed during a missile shelling with four mortar shells that targeted the consulate building and landed near Al-Hadbaa residential apartments."

According to the security sources, the source of the attack most likely came from the Al-Sada and Baweza area, where that area is under security control by the 30th Brigade of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization, and the majority of it is from the Shabak (Shiite) component.
