Turkey reveals the outcome of its operations since the beginning of 2022 in northern Syria and Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense revealed the outcome of its operations against what it called "terrorists" in the regions of northern Syria and Iraq, since the beginning of the current world.



In a speech during his meeting via video technology with the leaders of Turkish units operating on the Syrian and Iraqi borders and outside the country, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar stressed, "Turkish forces will continue to fight terrorism inside and outside the country until the last terrorist is eliminated and the security and safety of the Turkish borders are established," pointing out To "the recent increase in terrorist attacks in northern Syria, especially from the Manbij and Tal Rifaat regions, and that the Turkish army is responding to the terrorists as necessary."

Akar explained that "the Turkish forces have neutralized 35,268 terrorists since July 24, 2015," noting that "the Turkish forces have neutralized 1,999 terrorists in northern Syria and Iraq since the beginning of this year, as well as 277 terrorists in the framework of Operation Claw Lock."
