WhatsApp will stop working on these devices next month.. What about your phones?

Meta has decided to stop the WhatsApp application from working on some smartphones as of next month, for older versions of Android and iOS operating systems.

Meta, which owns Facebook, routinely rolls out updates for older versions of iOS and Android every time a new update comes out.

And in order to update the WhatsApp application, it must be Android 4.1 at least to update the application, and this change will occur after October 24, and most newer smartphones can only update their work system to continue using WhatsApp. In order for the application to work on your iPhone, you will need at least iOS 12 to continue using WhatsApp, and among the devices on which the application will depend is the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C.

WhatsApp is currently developing a new feature that will enable users to edit their sent text messages, and it is not clear if there is a specific time limit for editing sent text messages.

WhatsApp is dropping support for older smartphone systems in order to keep apps safe, which requires constant work and updates from developers.
