Yemen: a drone explosion in Qena port, which receives oil ships

Today, Wednesday, the sources reported that a drone exploded in the port of Qena, east of Bir Ali area in the Radhum district in Shabwa governorate, eastern Yemen, noting that this coincided with the presence of an oil ship in the port.

The march attack comes a day after the US ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, visited Hadhramaut in a message of support for the Saudi-appointed Presidential Council government, after the Yemeni army carried out a warning operation that resulted in stopping the looting of Yemeni oil through the port of Al-Daba, east of the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut, adjacent to Shabwa governorate.

It is noteworthy that the port of Qena is located 20 kilometers from the port of Balhaf, which exports Yemeni liquefied gas, which has been suspended since the Emirati forces took control of the region in 2015.
